Siemens AG Partnership
Since April 2017, CWC has worked near continuously on a variety of projects with Siemens AG based in Munich. It began with one developer (Adam Clarey) joining the Virtual and Augmented reality department on a contract role to build the CADLand platform (see below) and as a result of the hard work, dedication and success of the end deliverable, CWC has since been recommended for and worked on 3 further projects. As part of their service offering CWC have made several trips to Munich to assist on site and improve the outcomes of each project.
1. CADLand
Drupal 8 CMS, three.js, Hololens
The aim of CADLand was to build a user portal that would allow the end user to upload 3D models and then create bespoke 3D environments containing their models, all accomplished via a simple and intuitive user interface. As a result, non-technical users were capable of creating rich and immersive experiences for their customers via a web browser, 3D goggles and even a spin-off Hololens augmented reality app.
2. Datafinity
Drupal 8 CMS, 3D visualizations, Knowledge Graph
Datafinity is a long-running, ongoing project that began as a proof of concept and is now being developed into an enterprise level solution. The platform as built by CWC is a user and content management system that allows for intuitive uploading and annotation of data, and features advanced searching capabilities with additional APIs for the upload and consumption of data for the multitude of business units within Siemens.
3. Frontend Development

CWC began working with the Siemens Digital Factory Motion Control department to enhance and further develop their existing reporting and data visualisation suite. The objectives were clearly laid out and we completed all objectives against a very tight time constraint as the platform was required for a trade fair within weeks of us starting the work.
4. Blockchain Smart Parking
Ethereum Smart Contracts, Solidity
Very much an R&D proof of concept project, CWC provided highly specialised expertise to design and develop the underlying Smart Contracts that underpinned the entire project. The project was completed on time and fulfilled all requirements.
